Don't ever be reluctant to show your feelings when you're happy, give into it! When you're not, live with it. Don't ever be afraid to try to make things better, you might be surprised at the results. Don't ever take the weight of the world on your shoulders. Don't ever feel threatened by the future, take life one day at a time. Don't ever feel guilty about the past, what's done is done. Learn from any mistakes you might have made. Don't ever feel that you are alone, there is always somebody there for you to reach out to. Don't ever forget that you can achieve so many of the things you can imagine, imagine that! It's not as hard as it seems. But the next line, corrects this statement: "Don't ever be afraid to try to make things better," so I say AMEN to every line and most important: "Don't ever stop believing, don't ever stop dreaming your dreams." Don't give me a coat and bag of food,  just warn me about my soul. Now time is moving swiftly,  growing feeble weak and old. The shelter I need is in His arms;  just warn me about my soul. For if my soul's in danger,  that's something I must be told. Don't fill my plate with food and drink;  just warn me about my soul. You see I'm in an emergency,  and sin has taken its toll. It's spiritual food I need the most;  just warn me about my soul. The thing I need you to feed me,  bread of life to make me whole. My body dies but my spirit lives on;  just warn me about my soul. Don't try to give me money,  don't need silver cash or gold. If you really cared about my fate,  you'll warn me about my soul. You'll tell me I'm spiritually dead,  I'm lost under Satan's control. You'll tell me how Jesus died for me;  you'll warn me about my soul. You'll tell me about His love,  good news you should never withhold. Gave up His life just to save mine;  you'll warn me about my soul. You see I'm in spiritual trouble,  my life Satan easily could have stole. The one's I'll love when I finally get home;  those who warned me about my soul. For at my day of judgment,  I'll stand at eternity's threshold. I'll enter in as one of the flock;  I was warned about my soul. My life will be everlasting,  a splendor that can't be told. A life I'd never have,  if not warned about my soul. OK, we go right there… Jesus said in John 3:5 “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Paul was asking on his way to Damascus, “What shall I do Lord?” And right in Damascus, he was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost, (of course he first repented of his sins) Act 9:17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” The great Apostle Paul explains his conversion in Acts 22:6-16 “Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me.  And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’ 8 So I answered, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.’ “And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me. So I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me, ‘Arise and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all things which are appointed for you to do.’ And since I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus. “Then a certain Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good testimony with all the Jews who dwelt there, came to me; and he stood and said to me, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight.’ And at that same hour I looked up at him. 14 Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth. Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’ So my friends, religion and tradition will not do, we must be born again by water and spirit. If you speak for instance Arabic, French and English (what a blessing…), you will speak none of these languages, when God fills you with the Holy Ghost, but you will speak in another language that you never have learned. Jesus warned us, that unless one is born by water and the Spirit, he/she cannot enter the kingdom of God. Check yourself out, are you born again? (have you repented, have you been baptized by immersion in Jesus name <not as a baby, but after repentance> and have you spoken in other tongues?) If the answer is yes, praise God, keep walking and growing and be faithful to God and your church, if the answer is no, then you must open up your heart to the Gospel, pray and study the Bible that you receive understanding, Who Jesus is and what He did on the cross of Calvary, when He died for the sins of all mankind, which includes you and me. When you have understood this, (when you wanna know, God gives understanding) it’s time to come to Jesus and confess your sins and repent, which means being sorry from your whole heart and turning around from sin and setting your mind to never return to the old sinful lifestyle with the help of God. To repent is grace and mercy, to wash away your sins by water baptism in Jesus name is grace and mercy and to receive the Holy spirit is grace and mercy, none of us never will deserve it, but God loves us. Well, that’s just the beginning of a brand new life and the gift of salvation from God.  If you pray with your whole heart that God will lead you to salvation and you do your steps, God will lead you on. Don’t delay, tomorrow is never granted. Nothing better could have happened to me, when God showed me truth and gave me grace and mercy to receive this truth. This has changed my whole life, still changes and I have a wonderful hope for eternal glory. And yes, I give credit, somebody warned me about my soul... I am glad you shared this poem, livee and I realized, I have to tell you all this. There are many more examples in the Bible and I might get there another time. Whether in Damascus or elsewhere, pray to God and obey His plan of salvation. Well, except with one little “s” I am all behind your poem, if we are talking about spiritual warfare here… Deuteronomy 6:4  Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD. (the shma is the highest command in the Bible) One little letter in this issue is a big issue... (and thank God, He is not only a God of war, but also a God of grace, otherwise we all would be in bad shape...) What I mean, there are definitely no Gods, but ONLY One and His name is Jesus.
