I have a dear friend who studies archeology in La Trobe Univ. She lives in an area named "hoppers' crossing".

Several times has she invited me to visit Melbourne, the only apprehension I have is that Melbourne is a humid place; and I can by no means stand such climate since I have asthma.

Anyway; Louise I am glad to get to learn of you.

Bless your heart. Keep in touch ok?

Its so nice to see that you are all so friendly!

I live in Melbourne, and i know the area Hoppers Crossing well.. :)

Im doing my Masters in Business here-

The climate isnt humid at all.... I dont know where u got that idea from. In Melbourne, one day is raining, one day the sun is up. thats how it is here, everyday is different but most the time its nice. My brother has asthma too...

Malaysia and Dubai are considered Humid...... not Melbourne... so Ahlan Wa Sahlan anytime!!!!

That's only an error of performace, not that of competence. I defend my school mates and this is very typical of me. Sleep

What do u mean there's hardly any Syrians in Melbourne? There are over 20,000 Syrians in Australia....most of them live in Melbourne then Sydney.....I live in Sydney and i know heaps of syrian people here, even in Melbourne

btw how long have u lived in Australia for?

In 2001 there were 1,781 immigrants from Syria living in Victoria. The majority today live in Melbourne’s north-west, and are predominantly employed within the retail and manufacturing industries as both labourers and professionals. Three-quarters speak Arabic languages at home. Almost 60% are Christian, mostly Catholic or Orthodox; 33% are Muslim.

Thats not including the ones born here.......and its 6 yrs ago

Dude. you are wondering why there is not many Syrians in Australia. Well, I'll tell you why. Because more than 70% of Syrian people abroad are Christians (especially Assyrians). Hence they are not Syrians by the standards of some sickos. So they don't bother introducing themselves as Syrians. You see, you go to a convenience store. You know ahead that the owner is Syrian. Introduce yourself as Syrian. Everything going smooth till he sees the cross on your neck. At this point everything changes. Now you are not Syrian instead you are an Infidel (As the Saudi liar said). Moral: Don't even fu ckin bother sayin you are Syrian.

B.S. I don't know if you are Syrian or not, but frankly I don't care.

What I meant in the last line was I don't care if you are Muslim (I was gonna write Syrian again) or not.
